The canals of Amsterdam

Today we went to a canal ride. We learned about all sorts of things. We had a lot of fun . We looked at a ship that sunk , but it was on top of the water instead of under the water I bet it would be hard to see if it was under the water. I had a very fun time!!!!!

There are lot's of pictures in the De Kathedraal , I liked a lot of Rubens pictures. A lot of the pictures are a triptych. (An altar piece with three panels. ) The Apse was cool . ( It has a cross
(That looks like a t.)Then the celling goes very high. ) There were al lot of candles.
De Kathedraal is in Antwerp. Antwerp is a city in Belgium.

The Printer's Museum
The Printers Museum is very cool. I learned how they made newspapers: They make letters and put those in little boxes they send it through
the printing machine. They have to write backwards so it comes out the right way. And they have to dampen the paper before the ink.
And I learned how they make books: it's the same way the printer made the pages and the book binder bound them together.
And the printers I saw were more than 400 years old.

I was in Belgium when I saw this museum.
